According to Album des Pavillons [pay00], the roundel of the Algerian Air Force is a circular version of the national flag.

Cochrane & Elliott [c2e98] report that between 1962-1962 white-red-green (in reduced length from up downwards) bars were added to the roundel.

According to Album des Pavillons [pay00], the national flag is painted on the fin. The fin flash is indeed a square modification of the national flag where the central elements (crescent and star) are more prominent than in the national flag.
